This Cookie Policy explains how Plimbu, a product of Planning Digital Services Limited, uses cookies and similar technologies.
Launch position
For the current public launch:
- We do not use first-party product analytics cookies or analytics identifiers
- We do not show a cookie consent banner, because we are not setting non-essential analytics cookies
- The planner needs browser storage to work
Cookies
Plimbu’s own application code does not currently set first-party cookies for analytics or advertising.
Your browser or hosting/security providers may still use technical cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the website securely.
Browser storage (necessary for Plimbu)
When you use the planner, Plimbu stores information in your browser (session storage and sometimes local storage). This is required for the service you ask for, for example to:
- Remember your selected property and proposal while you move between steps
- Keep temporary Summary/PDF preview images available during your session
- Restore recent project work on the same device, where that feature is available
This storage stays on your device unless you clear it.
Third-party services
Some pages load resources from third parties that may process technical data (such as IP address) when the resource is fetched. Today this can include:
- Google Fonts — to display Plimbu’s typeface
- Map and address providers — when maps, imagery or address lookup are used
- Cloudflare — to host and deliver the site
Self-hosting fonts is planned as a post-launch improvement to further reduce third-party requests.
How to clear browser storage
You can clear Plimbu data from your browser settings by removing site data / cookies for plimbu.co.uk, or by using your browser’s clear-storage controls. After clearing, your in-progress project will usually be gone.
